Animation Workshop at Phoenix

Phoenix in Leicester, as many PBQ venues, invests their time and effort to introduce educational activities surrounding the art of film-making. This July Phoenix have teamed up with Lunchbox Films to create Summer Children's Animation Workshop.

With a mission to ‘Keep Kids Animated!’ Theo Godley and Leo Altarelli founded Lunchbox Films in 2005. Combining their film and music skills they have been carrying out their unique animation and music workshops in schools and communities across the UK. Now they come to Phoenix in Leicester to create an opportunity for kids to create their own trailer. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about many aspects of animation from: storyboarding; making sets and models; designing characters; directing scenes; stop–motion animation; recording sound effects and dialogue; and composing a soundtrack.

The workshop is taking place Saturday 24 July.
Suitable for ages 6-11
Workshop Times: 10am–12pm, 12.30pm–2.30pm and 3.30pm–5.30pm.
